In this exhibit, we will guide you through some of the material being generated by the Ports, Past and Present team in 2020-21, with a particular emphasis on crisis in the Irish Sea Basin and the five project ports: Dublin, Rosslare, Holyhead, Fishguard and Pembroke Dock.

This exhibit is an introduction to Ports, Past and Present. The Project explores five distinct port towns, connecting communities across a shared sea. It is divided into a series of work packages, each with its own theme, activities and objectives.

In this exhibit, follow Ports, Past and Present on a journey around the Irish Sea using the Port Places app. In it, you can explore the depth of history and heritage surrounding the five active ferry ports on the Irish Sea: Dublin Port, Rosslare, Holyhead, Fishguard and Pembroke Dock.
This app allows the user to download their choice of curated experiences, each providing a vision of port life, creativity, history and heritage.
