About 12 miles from Fishguard lies Craig Rhos-y-felin, a special formation of volcanic stone. Recent archaelogical findings suggest that this is the original quarry location of the bluestones, or dolorite, that make up the smaller, inner circle of the Stonehenge. Gary Jones sat down with Ports, Past and Present to talk about this prehistoric connection between the Preseli Mountains and Stonehenge 150 miles to the east.
Tua 12 milltir o Abergwaun mae Craig Rhos-y-felin, tirlun arbennig o garreg folcanig. Mae ymchwil archeolegol diweddar yn awgrymu mai dyma leoliad chwarel wreiddiol y cerrig gleision, neu'r dolorit, sy'n ffurfio cylch mewnol llai Côr y Cewri. Esboniodd Gary Jones wrth Ports, Past and Present y cysylltiad cynhanesyddol hwn rhwng Mynyddoedd y Preseli a Chôr y Cewri.
