Gareth Huws sat down with Ports, Past and Present and discussed Holyhead's international connections at the end of the nineteenth century, which even included the establishment of a Portuguese consulate, and later developments which changed the port into a 'closed shop'.

Bu Gareth Huws yn sôn wrth Borthladdoedd, Ddoe a Heddiw, am gysylltiadau rhyngwladol Caergybi ar ddiwedd y bedwaredd ganrif ar bymtheg, a oedd hyd yn oed yn cynnwys sefydlu conswliaeth Bortiwgeaidd, ynghyd â newidiadau diweddarach a drawsnewidiodd y porthladd yn 'siop gaeëdig'.
